Me and 2 friends of mine, stayed there for queen's day, I have been in Amsterdam many times before, but after this experience, I will never stay in a hotel again. It is in a nice and quite neighborhood, only minutes away from the rush of the big party, there are wild swans and ducks leaving in the channel, and thy eat out of your hand from the terrace of the houseboat.
I suggest to rent a bicycle for your stay in Amsterdam.
