Ambergris with kids, March 6, 2009

We stayed for 7 nights in Ambergris with 2 families and children 4,6,8,8. We all loved the vacation and the accomodations are stunning. If you are travelling with children it is important to know that the property is on the water but does not have beach entry or good ocean swimming. This is available in town but not on site. The coco locos pool is more sunny and shallow so was preferred by my kids. Also note that there is a lot of construction in the area. It will be beautiful, currently next door is a vacant lot and across the street is under construction. The snorkelling and fishing was loved by my children. Bring your money as eating out and excursions are expensive. Snorkelling $158 per family of 4, fishing $300 per family
