Fabulous Family Vacation sunrise to sunset (#36423)

If you want to see the most unobstruted sunrise and sunset, in the most comfortable setting, you must stay at Rick and Mimi's. This was not a beach rental. It was like staying at Grandma's house on the beach. Its the only brick house on the six mile island with lots of history. Its almost like a New England house in North Carolina. Rick and Mimi, the owners, made theirselves ready available for anything that we needed. They advised us on local tours (Duplin Winery a must) as well as things to do. Kitchen very user friendly. Four bedrooms on the second floor enabled those who wished to stay up later, not to disturb those who wished to retire early. If you have a son or daughter graduating from UNCW, stay with these folks! Book early. Wine and cheese with Mimi on the pier on Thursday nights watching the sunset.
