My husband and I stayed here for 1 week for our 10 year anniversary..It was wonderful...very affordable, and in a beautiful location. The drive there is a bit of a challenge...20 minutes up the side of the mountain on VERY windey roads, but beautiful views...a little scary with the speed of the traffic in Italy...but worth the drive...The house is just like the pictures...impeccably clean, and very well kept up...The kitchen makes for a nice way to stay in and have some pasta, or we saved some money each morning eating breakfast there. Day trips are plentiful from here, Florence by train (1 hr), Pisa, Lucca, the coast, and Chianti wine country all within an hour of Pesia. Wonderful Wine/olive grove tour in Motecarlo (20 minutes) Gloria is WONDERFUL and professional. We would recommend this place to all!! E-mail with any questions..I would love to help your planning!!
