Additional Comments:
We stayed at this cottage for 8 nights this summer. We chose it because it was centrally located close to Shenandoah National Park and Charlottesville. We only looked at cottages that allowed pets as we have an older dog on arthritis meds and she can't stay at a concrete floored kennel.
The house is nice. There is a huge kitchen, good sized living room area, three small bedrooms, full bath with laundry.
The view from the living room looks over the large pond and into the mountain ranges. The property is absolutely beautiful. The cottage is connected by a large entry-way to a two story retreat. Even when there are people at the retreat, it is totally quiet in the cottage.
This is not the Hilton, it is furnished with older furniture and linoleum floors in the main areas. However, it is very clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, and the property is beautiful. We also had use of the good sized swimming pool. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
