Additional Comments:
The pictures of Drift Inn are exactly as it is and more.We love antiques and were amazed how the owner, Mary, had melded a terrific shower and laundry room to fit in with the cottage. The comforts of the 21st century but the beauty of a time past. Mary encouraged us to use everything (totally stocked with everyday dishes & glasses but also a complete set of lovely china with hand cut stemware) and also left historical data on Orange City and, in particular, her cottage. Everyday we saw something new among all the pictures and antiques. The kitchen was perfect (modern in the Victorian setting) for someone who loves to cook and Mary anticipated all needs along with various condiments and staples. The patio was a special treat and the grounds were beautiful. Roses were bluming before we left. Our daughter and her friend spent spring break with us and the location was perfect for them - close to Disney and Daytona. We loved our month's stay and hope to return next year for a longer stay.
