Elkhart Lake Cottage-steps away from the water! (#33891)

If you are looking for a great and memorable family time this is the place. The beach and pier are amazing for swimming and kid play. Boats for waterskiing and tubing are literally steps away, as is the Tiki bar for lunch and drinks - either for there or to bring back to hang out. If you're going to be outside, bring your bug spray, but you'd need that anywhere during the summer. There was no bug problem on the porch this year, as the owners have replaced all the screens. We slept outside on the porch one night (during a rainstorm) and it was glorious. It is definitely one of the best porches on the lake. My only negative....Bring many beach towels - you'll definitely go through them. Despite the hanging rack outside, without a dryer you'll need more than you think.
