Oregon Beachfront Sweeping views! (#10855)

We rented this beach house for 9 days as a spot to get our family together for the first time in many years. The view was great! The house was well equipped with everything we needed. It took us a while to figure out where the trail was, to the beach. We found it on the second day, and took daily walks. The house is away from the busy city, but close enough to enjoy the attractions and shop for anything we needed. Warning: we could not get cell phone signals, and there was not good TV reception. The TV was not hooked to cable. There was a DVD/VCR player, and a good variety of movies. Also, don't plan on using the sofa bed for sleeping - some of the springs are broken, and it is very lumpy. They did have foam fold-out beds that were very comfortable. These were minor glitches, but things to be aware of and plan for. In all - we enjoyed our stay and had a great time. My favorite things: walking barefoot on the beach, and falling asleep while listening to the ocean waves!!
