Additional Comments:
The location of this cottage could not be more ideal. Located above the causeway, there is limited boat traffic and the dead-end road on which it is located also provides for very limited traffic noise. Overall, it is a very serene location with fantastic sunset views.
The cottage itself is rustic as described, but we found it quite lovely. The furniture--as we suspected from the photos--could be slightly more comfortable, but it was fine for a week's worth of time. There is, however, a slight problem with a rocking toilet that will hopefully be repaired soon.
The kitchen is relatively well-equipped and the layout of the cottage is quite comfortable for traffic flow.
The on-site canoe and kayak were in good working order and it was easy to paddle directly from the shore of the cottage's beach.
We would certainly consider a week's rental here again and thank the owners for their opening such a gem to renters.
