Romantic Farmhuse on River nr Helen w/ Gr Fishing (#1002)

First the house is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures really open which is great for socializing and you're not cramped together. Very clean & I know this sounds silly but smelled really fresh & clean. Nancy was great - we asked for a pot to boil peanuts in & she found us one. We didn't get to enjoy the river as much due to such a short visit but it is really pretty and you can hear the water rushing by from the porch. We spent our days at the Hiawassee Fair which was really cheap entertainment. It rained at night & the days were just cool enough to enjoy long sleeves. A really nice fire pit that we couldn't use (but we tried) everything was too wet from the rain. Hope to return for a longer visit next time. Yes, we did see trout though we didn't have time to fish. The dogs loved the big porch and the big back yard. Thanks Nancy for sharing your home with us.
