Cozy getaway with majestic waterview (#29394)

Everything was in order and our owner left the key under the mat for us as we were late getting in. It's in Long Island wine country, tucked away in the back of the development with a view of the sea. Good for a weekend getaway from the city, and very quiet. The sitting area in the front is very relaxing, and it's a short walk down a wooden staircase to the beach. Beautiful sunsets and the water is chilly because it's Long Island, but swimmable and inviting. It's clear we were the first guests of the season as there was a little plumbing problem, we ran out of propane for the grill, and the water heater inexplicably turned off causing us to cut our stay short. Our owner was very accomodating, though, and took $$ off our balance for the inconvenience.
