Beautiful 3BR Home in Sea Trail Golf Resort (#36320)

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset House in Sunset Beach, NC. The home is in a quiet neighborhood four miles from the beach. It is not difficult to get to the beach, though it does require a drive in the car. The ride to the beach will be easier with a new bridge that will be complete in 2010. We appreciated the fact that the house is newer with larger beds (a king and a queen) and two baths. The beds, though, were fairly uncomfortable. The owners generously provided a gas grill, nice beach chairs and other beach equipment, cable, and internet, but the kitchen was not supplied with some necessary basics like baking dishes or prep knives. The owners are very responsive and quickly remedied any problems we communicated. There isn't much to do in the area, but it is relaxing, and there are newer markets and pharmacies for convenience. We had brought bikes thinking we'd get to do that a lot, but the community isn't very bike-friendly. Overall, we're happy with the experience.
