Additional Comments:
This efficiency apartment offers all the amenities as advertised. The payment transaction via fax and key exchange through the mail was convenient. The entire studio is not much bigger than a Hilton- or Hyatt-sized hotel room, but with the benefit of a kitchen, washer/dryer, and included underground gated parking space. It's on the third floor of a four-level mixed use condo building. I recommend bringing earplugs, as Market Street is right below, which is a principal route from the Gaslamp Quarter (bars, restaurants, entertainment) to a couple mega hotels on Harbor Drive. The windows don't do a good job of blocking out the outside noise, and the window coverings are unattractive and allow the bright morning sunshine right inside. Can you say "cock-a-doodle-doo"? By far, the selling point of this unit is its decent value, and its proximity to downtown attractions. Based on that, I would recommend it particularly to the single business visitor or tourist.
