This traditional stone cottage is exactly as it looks in the photo here. The horses in the field a few yards from the cottage add to the rural and authentic feel of the place. The house has a lovely open plan with high two story ceilings. There are two shower rooms with toilets – one in house and one with a sauna in an outer building a few steps from the cottage. This is a perfect setting for families. Our boys loved playing on site and there is a wonderful hiking path that goes up the hill just across the road. Location is ideal for Galway and Doolin is about an hour away. You need a car. The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful. On our arrival, there was freshly baked home-made bread waiting for us as well as fresh cut flowers on the table and sausages, bacon, milk and other essentials in the fridge.
Some of the specs here are not exactly right. There is no telephone, dishwasher, housekeeper, or stereo. There is one queen and four single beds so it actuall
