Located on the Majestic Smith River (#1582)

Loved the view of the Smith River, quite beautiful. Cabin was comfortable once we learned how to use the pellet stove. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't warm when we got there. After 11+ hours in the car I really just wanted to relax and not have to figure something out, but it worked out okay. Jed. Smith state park is close, nice to do some exploring there. Crescent city is close also, the beach was nice and we managed to get some nice photos. Eureka is a bit of a drive, 80 miles turns into almost 2 hour drive when you account for the curves and slow traffic, but there's a brewery there (Lost Coast) that is worth the drive. Bed in the cabin is a little on the hard side and there are some ants to deal with but overall it's a nice relaxing place with fabulous views.
