Two Blocks from the beach! (#20688)

We stayed at kuhiorooms (suite 906) for 8 nights. We had a wonderful time. We could see the ocean from our lanai (between two buildings). The suite had a microwave, fridge and even a few dishes which helped our budget. There is a grocery store a few blocks away that sells ready to eat items, a convenience store, coin laundry and internet cafe in the lobby. The elevator is secured with a key fob, the car rental place next door is open early until 6PM, making it convenient to rent for a day, but the underground parking was only $12. Check in and out was easy; Ron worked around our schedule, allowing us to drop our bags and pick up keys at 9AM so we could enjoy the day. We enjoyed having several TV channels, but since roaming was pretty costly we missed not having a phone in the room. We found the beds a little unconfortable, the A/C noisy, fire alarms went off twice, but in all I would say it was excellent value. Great shower, boogie board and inner tube available and a great host.
