This island off the South Carolina coast is beautiful and somewhat unspoiled with beautiful beaches, warm ocean water with waves, and lots of biking, hiking, golf and relaxing. The Hilton Head Resort was a nice resort with 3 pools, one indoor and 2 outdoor. The condo unit we rented was clean and moderately decorated. The resort is ocean-front, but you needed to cross a marsh via a nice boardwalk. We thoroughly enjoyed this vacation on Hilton Head Island.
