The apartment is as pictured, and is perfectly nice enough for your stay in Chicago. It is no frills, but was clean and inviting. The neighborhood is a little dodgy - sort of on the edge between a super swanky area, and a more run down area. It did feel safe though, and we did not feel uncomfortable in the area, although we were not walking - we had a car. It *is* very convenient to a lot of amenities though, and is very close to downtown. The owner/landlady is SUPER nice. Very helpful, and very responsive. We did have one issue, but the owner was very understanding and handled the situation well. I wholeheartedly believe that she has taken care of it and it should not be an issue for future guests, so I don't want to elaborate in the review.
