This cottage was exactly as pictured. It was clean and well renovated. Everything worked except the TV! The owner told us that we could expect only two channels and intermitent reception! He was right! This is a cottage well-suited for people who have plans elsewhere. There's not much to do and access to the lake is limited, even though there is a slight lake-view through the front windows. The owners were not available the entire week, and we needed light bulbs and a place to leave the key when we left. I think a local contact for those minor issues would have helped. The cottage is very bright and airy. The master bath has a great jet tub, but one must step up quite high to enter. This could be a problem for people who are a bit physically challenged; however, the other bath has a shower. If a renter is unaware of MI weather, be advised that warm AND cold weather clotes are essential in summer, albeit, the furnace worked fine! A plus for snowmobilers! M. Johnson
