we had a wonderful vacation, but the house pictures on the web site are of two differnt houses. the one we actually rented had only three bedrooms, no outdoor shower, and only slept 6 at the most. The house was several blocks from the Cape Charles beach, but it was comfortable for the five of us. It would not be appropriate for anyone who had problems with stairs, as it is an old house and the stairs are steep.
The owner did not respond to messages we left regarding a minor problem.
the townspeople are great, very hospitable. there are good restaurants and a quiet calm, clean beach area.
