Peaceful Minnesota Retreat, June 17, 2008

We had a great time at this vacation home. Tucked back in the woods, a short walking distance from the lake, it was completely relaxing and peaceful. There is a great restaurant/bar located 10 min away at Big Sandy Resort that we loved. Also 10 min away is the Minnesota National Golf Course. It is a beautiful course and well worth the $50-60 for 18 holes and half of a cart. Jeff (the owner of house) was completely helpful in planning our trip and letting us know what to do and see, from the golf to the resort, to the best fishing holes! We had a pontoon for a couple of days and I would definitely recommend that. The house is large enough for 2-3 couples to have some privacy and is very well kept. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with a short drive to other entertainment, this is definitely a great place to stay and we look forward to going back soon!
