Historic Gettysburg Home (#33604)

Our entire extended family had a magnificent experience at this peaceful Gettysburg house. Situated just minutes south of the town of Gettysburg, it offered access to the entire battlefield without being in the craziness of the downtown area. The house was large enough that even with 5 adults and 2 kids there was room to have a quiet place to read or just relax. The large collection of Civil War items and books made the experience much more complete and we were able to explore parts of the battlefield that the normal tour groups just skip over. This was my third time to Gettysburg and I still learned new information. The new visitor’s center has some of the best Ranger Programs we’ve been to in the USA. The house exceeded our expectations and if we are able to arrange another get together we will be back to this house. Kudos to the owners and Vacation Home Rentals for making it easy to find spectacular vacation homes such as this.
