GRUENE SLEEPY RIVER HAUS (#24443)

I cannot say enough about this home and the incredible scenery. The whole purpose of this trip was for our wedding. We have some friends that live just down the street and were planning on getting married on there property on the river. Our stay at the Sleepy River Haus was merely a convenience to our pending nuptials. However, there were some significant rain storms leading up to the event which made the nuptials impossible at our friends property. Plan B was the easiest decision ever. We got married right on the river at the Gruene Sleepy River Haus. The setting was perfect. On the dock, overhanging the river. The yard was a natural ampitheater setting for family that attended. It was perfect!! The house worked perfectly for our blended families of 5 children. Gave them an opportunity to get to know each other and bond. All in all a fabulous home, fabulous location and fabulous setting for everything... As long as you don't mind the steady stream of Guadalupe toobers!!
