PIKES PEAK CABIN BY GARDEN OF THE GODS (#23664)

We had an awesome time! We loved staying in Colorado Springs Area and being so close to all the things we had on our list to see. Pikes Peak (via Cog Railway), Seven Falls and Garden of the Gods. We also went to the Air Force Academy and Focus on the Family...We have been long time listeners of this program and our boys have many of the Adventures in Odyssey CD that they have listened to for years. All these places are a must see for the first time visitor to the Colorado Springs area. On our way home we stopped at the Royal Gorge where my youngest son (11) dared to go fly on the Sky Coaster. Unforgettable! Your cabin was very nice!! We loved having our morning coffee as we sat out on the deck looking out over the city. My husband and I often commented on the fact that we would not have found a nicer or more convenient place to stay in Colorado Springs. Your cabin was clean and inviting, your kitchen had everything we needed to cook (loved the Foreman Grill). The beds were comfortable! The neighborhood was very quiet. We loved walking the streets of Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs and looking in all the different culture type shops. We had the BEST time on this family vacation and are so thankful for your hospitality in making our vacation one we will always remember. We so appreciated all the details you thought of in making our stay enjoyable...like the gift basket, binoculars, the information binder, the beautiful bedding set for our room and the chocolate. Thanks Julia for your part in making our time in Colorado Springs memorable!!
