Log Cabin Lodge in the Cool Pines 5000+sf (#36996)

I hesitate to call a home that is 5000 square feet a cabin, but that is what the owner John calls this beautiful log residence in the hills above Prescott. It is about 2 1/2 miles along a somewhat primitive dirt road, but we arrived in a couple of 15 passenger vans without any problems. The cabin is huge with plenty of room for a bunch of people. The master suite is magnificent with a big jacuzzi tub and both a king and single bed. There are a couple of living rooms and several fireplaces. On the first level there is a game room that the kids would love. While it is located out of range of cell phones, there is a phone at the cabin and long distance is included. High Speed internet is also available. Overall, it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it for those needing a place large enough for a group. It is extremely quiet and private, a great place to get away.
