Additional Comments:
We had a relaxing time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental. At first we compared the rental to fancy B&B's and high priced rentals. This item didn't work or that thing was stuck, but then we began to hear the water flowing nearby, and listen to the soft sound of silence. The rental is midway between condo and cabin. In short, it was comfortable. The owner was very pleasant and left us to ourselves. The seven mile drive to town was a wonderful attitude adjustment because of the beautiful scenery. We were about 20 miles from Homer and noticed that when we were in sunshine, Homer was in rain and clouds. We were surprised and pleased with the lush verdant countryside. Yes, the place is a northern rain forest. Took about 150 photos. Caught lots of fish, shipped 50 lbs halibut and salmon fillets home. Bottom line: rental was affordable, located in a scenic postcard, and a perfect place to relax.
