Kezar Lake is well-known for its pristine beauty, and mountain scenery. 9 miles long and up to a mile wide, Kezar is not enchanting just for its looks. It's also extremely unique, because it's both a warm and cold water lake. The Lower Bay is considered warm water, the Middle and Upper Bays are substantially deeper - and colder. Upper and Lower Bays maintain the greatest widths, and both are dotted with a few small islands. Excellent for water skiing. Lower Bay has unique stream feeders, and the outlet for the lake, providing exceptional diversity of wildlife. Nearby, the Kezar Lake Country Club has a golf course, in fact there are 5 golf courses within a half hour's drive. Sunday River and Attitash Bear Peak are a little more than a half-hour away. Shawnee Peak, New England's largest night skiing facility is just minutes away. And the White Mountain National Forest is practically at your doorstep.
