Additional Comments:
We stayed at the Lakeshore B&B in Cordova, AK last week and arrived via fast ferry from Whittier to a fully / freshly stocked kitchen (groceries galore!). All furnishings and appliances were impeccable and the host, "Cordova Bob" made certain our entire family enjoyed everything Cordova had to offer. Our four daughters (under 11 yrs old) and us were absolutely thrilled with beachcombing at low tides, salmon fishing in streams, wildlife viewing in Hartney Bay and across the Copper River delta, berry picking, bear sightings every single day (berries were ripe!), halibut fishing and island exploring in the ocean skiff Bob provided us for our use, Sheridan glacier hiking and Child's glacier's thunderous, spectacular calving activity. Our 4 yr old managed her own kayak outbound on Eyak lake, and she came in first beating her older siblings when towed by Dad during the race back to the B&B. The entirety of Alaska was rainy and cool this summer, yet Cordova was magical thanks to Bob's B&B
