charming,private villa on the Amalfi Coast (#29066)

We stayed at "Villa la Barchetta" for two weeks during September - nowhere near long enough! If you're looking for a relaxing and picturesque holiday, then this is the ultimate destination. After a warm welcome from Anna (a good friend of our hostess, Marion), we easily slipped into holiday mode, and spent our holiday relaxing, eating and exploring all the Amalfi Coast had to offer. The people were warm and friendly, the food was fresh and delicious, the views were spectacular, and the weather was at it's best. The villa is ideally located in Praiano with a short scooter ride to Positano on one side, and Amalfi on the other - it's the perfect starting point for any coastal journeys either on land, or by water. We would recommend "Villa la Barchetta" to anyone wanting an incredible experience to remember.
