We just returned from a week stay at the Braden's cabin. It was very clean, cozy and has beautiful views of the lake. The pictures on the website are exactly what it looks like (we have stayed in many places where it looks nothing like the website). It has a very nice kitchen with everything you would need for cooking and entertaining! Great location to Hickory and there is a marina at the end of the cove (or just down the road) to rent boats. Lake Hickory is a beautiful lake with many huge and beautiful homes on it. No cable TV but we didn't even miss it (the Johnny Carson DVD's kept us entertained when we did feel the need for TV). Great deck with nice views and most of the time a cool breeze (though it was hot in NC, but not as hot as Florida). We will definently be back and would recommended this cabin to our friends and family.
