Waterfront Log Cabin U.P. Michigan Vacation Rental (#38450)

What a great vacation spot to get away from it all. We spent the week fishing (daughter caught 17 fish on Thursday - from the dock), paddling around the lake, biking, swimming, and sitting by the fire. Everything was terrific. Great for the kids. Plenty of wildlife and nature to interact with. Iron Mountain and Norway are nearby for supplies, and there are maps to local waterfalls and trails. The yard is huge, so we set up all the games we had at once. The house is well-appointed, very very clean, and very comfortable. The cell service is very weak and spotty, but that can be good thing, too. No Internet service, but there is satellite TV, DVD, and VHS, as well as a pool table and electronic dart board. We couldn't have been more pleased, and the owners are very nice to work with.
