Great Location! Incredible View! (#42226)

We had a wonderful time in Waikiki. We had not been there in several years and and it was our first experience at renting a condo there. The Condo was everything the web ad (and pictures) represented it to be. Spotless clean (appeared freshly painted and carpeted), comprehensively furnished and equipped with a Great view from the 27th floor. Owner lives in Waikiki and checked us in personally. For three weeks, it was our home away from home. The complex is well located - a short walk to the beach and the main strip (Kalakaua avenue). There was some work going on on certain floors but that did not really affect our unit except for a couple of hours one morning when water had to be cut off. The elevators were quite efficient for a 30-story building - we rarely had to wait for more than a minute or two. We would certainly go back and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends. One note: seems that most of these condos (including this one) have a counter with stools in the eating area - we would have preferred a table with chairs but it's a compromise we had accepted to live with beforehand.
