Pinecone is a luxury resort by itself – the cottage is beautifully and completely furnished with a full complement of amenities that ensure that the needs of either a large, active family or a couple on a romantic weekend are met. Extraordinary value! We live in the Mid-Atlantic region near Washington, D.C. and a comparable cottage on the Chesapeake Bay or in the Shenadoah Valley would be triple the cost and be full all the time. Your hosts are incredibly warm and charming. The country breakfasts, the homemade bread, the fresh baked pizza cannot be missed. We (and all the friends and relatives that we can talk into it) will be back. Our dog loved it also.
