Gem | After driving five hrs from NYC we arrived to magnificant weather on a quiet dead end road close to Nantucket Sound. Our cottage (attached to another) was simple, but perfect for a couple's home base. It had everything one could want. The size is perfect for a family of four. Two bedrooms with 4 twin beds, although I think it'd be nice if one room had a full bed instead. Perfect location for access to all of Cape Cod. We attended a wedding in Chatham, a 20 minute calm scenic drive. The Main St. village is a must stop for all visitors. Beach options are plentiful. Ours, by the cottage, was perfect/peaceful. Will definitely go again. Best to rent both cottages. We stayed in both (slight inconvenience switching). They have little porches with outdoor seating and BBQs. The only downside is cottage A has no heat...for those visiting in the off-season. |
