Space and Light in NYC | Fabulous apartment in Battery Park, overlooking Hudson River, good views of Ellis and Liberty. Unlike most NYC apartments, 3 big windows open to sky rather than skyscraper, and lots of room. Spartan (good!) and decent facilities. Subway 2 mins away for very easy access to major attractions, but a great escape from the bustle. Excellent deli next door gives cooked meals at most hours, if you're lazy. Owner very easy to deal with - friendly but totally unobtrusive (saw her first day but never again). Don't worry if her e-mails are often one word long, she did exactly as promised. That's New Yorkers for you. Highly recommended, and worth paying the slightly higher price than for some - much better value. |
