colorful, comfortable, convenient | Our stay at the "Refugio" couldn't have been better. It was a hassle-free, relaxing getaway. The decor is fantastic, our bed was by far the most comfortable of any place I have ever stayed outside of my own home, and the location is right in between all the interesting spots in Bend. The house was well-equipped for the guest, from kitchen gadgets to books & movies. It was bitterly cold while in Bend during our stay, and it was easy to want to stay inside and curl up by the fire. Since the house had everything we needed (save groceries), that's pretty much what we did! Oh, and the owners are WONDERFUL. I would recommend the Refugio to anyone staying in Bend, be it for a weekend or a month. |
