Tue Oct 31 Excellent location, great apartment Location is great. Belgian beer at the Lowlander down the street, Covent Garden with about three million pubs/shops/restaurants around the corner. Try the BaliBali Indonesian restaurant on Shaftesbury Avenue for a change... The free Covent Garden magazine (there's a rack at the tube station) has an excellent map of the area, which even the experienced may need. The place is a maze. Flat comes with everything you need, from coffee machine to high speed internet. No issues with anything and the shower pressure/temperature is great (experienced UK visitors will know what I'm talking about). The party member who drew the wall bed had no complaints.
Mon May 1 A keeper This location is excellent. Much of Central London is in easy walking range. Great Portland Street and Warren Street stations are within a few hundred yards and access five tube lines between them. Groceries, restaurants and pubs are close by. And yet the place is very quiet with a neighbourhood feel. The flat is great for two people, comfortable and (unlike some) up only one flight of stairs. Like MacArthur, we shall return.
