peaceful cottage on quite lane | Loved our stay at this ca 1920 cottage on a quiet woodsy old lane. Out the bedroom window is an apple tree by a mountain brook, with hillsides beyond. While it was snowy outside, the gas logs in a large stone fireplace warmed up the whole place. If you just want to stay in, there's a great kitchen with lots of pots for cooking. Drove up a curvy road behind the cottage to see some beautiful vistas and found ourselves in the highest town east of the Mississippi (Beech Mt). Who knew!? An amazing cottage. We really enjoyed it. |
