Staying at the other end of Island Park | My family and some of our friends stayed in this seemingly rustic cabin which had been remodeled with all the wanted features. We especially appreciated the wonderful antique furniture. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were very nicely stocked. We were glad about the location of the cabin. We have spent the last twenty years renting on the other side of the longest mainstreet in the USA. We enjoyed snow shoe trips on the nearby Continental Divide, and up the draws behind the cabin. We still cross country skied our favorite Buffalo River trails and then enjoyed the sunsets over Henry's Lake from "our" cabin. We liked the warm, cozy feeling of the cabin and the "character" found in our habitat of four days. In the past we have skied a couple of miles into isolated retreats. The short 100 yard walk to this unique cabin was well worth the effort....the snow plow never showed up. No worries, we loved our time alone together overlooking the views of northern Island Park. |
