Tue Nov 11	Comfortable and quiet	I really enjoyed my week in this apartment. The building is quiet, and there is plenty of room for 4 people. I was a little worried about the neighborhood, because I had only ever stayed near the Acropolis, but I really loved it. It was very easy walking (30" to the Plaka if you go slow, 10 " to the interesting museums and Kolonaki Square), and even easier on the Metro. There were lots of shops and restaurants, and some good take-out places. Everyone at Athens Studio was helpful and kind. The apartment was a little old-fashioned (which I liked), but perfectly comfortable.
Fri Oct 17	A great time in Athens	I spent a week by myself here, and could have comfortably stayed with my husband and 2 kids. Safe quiet building, good location. I could walk to Syntagma, museums (20"), to Olympeon and Acropolis (30"). Good Metro service too. Plenty of food shopping, nice restaurants and takeout around the corner. Breezy, no need for AC. People at Athens Studio were very nice and helpful, and they arranged for a cab to and from airport. Only complaint-- bathroom a little outdated, and there was not much in the way of supplies(i.e., no salt, dishtowels, extra linens). But the price was right, and you can flush the toilet paper.
