Peace & Quiet | My husband and I enjoyed this place as well as any we have visited, and it's so close to home. We have traveled far and wide to beautiful places, but there is somthing special about the South that you don't get everywhere else. Folks are friendly and everything is so convenient, even though you are 'away from it all'. The leaves changing were spectacular, but nothing compares to sitting on the deck and watching the river flow. The Maler's thought of every little thing, and because they actually live there sometimes, it feels more like home. Our next trip will be a Spring one, when hopefully we can catch all the trees blooming. Thanks so much to Roger & Tracy for sharing their home away from home. It was the greatest 'getaway' vacation we ever had. We might even take up fishing next time...... Sherri & Randy |
