Just like home | Our child attends college in the Finger Lakes, and we have had a good deal of difficulty finding places to stay that meet our standards -- until now. We stayed in one of the log cabins at Cobtree, and could not have been more pleased. The cabin was roomy, well-appointed, and IMMACULATE, something that seems to be in short supply in the Finger Lakes. For less than we have paid in the past at area's "best" hotels, we enjoyed not a room, but 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, an exceptionally well-stocked kitchen, and a deck with an extraordinary view of the lake. The hosts were friendly and accomodating, and left thoughtful and detailed information in the cabin about both the facility and the area. As each cabin or cottage is a stand-alone structure, you enjoy complete and total privacy during your say. We plan to stay at Cobtree every time we visit our child at school! |
