A little "piece of heaven..." | This was our first trip to Maggie Valley after having been "regulars" at Beech Mountain for a number of years. Everything on this trip was just perfect with the exception of the weather - who would have thought there would be no snow in North Carolina this time of year?! But it was not a problem - the ski resort had excellent snow making equipment and our kids snowboarded to their heart's content. The cabin in wonderfully secluded in the woods yet the town of Waynesville is close by so we enjoyed shopping and eating in the downtown area. (And Asheville is close by as well if you really miss civilization!) We loved our vacation and look forward to staying in this cabin again - it truly felt like home and we all loved it. |
