Thu Aug 21		A treasure in the woods on Mt. Hood!	Serenity is peaceful and beautiful, but it is also a work of art and a labor of love, by master craftsman, Richard, who built it, along with his wife, Becca. You won't find two nicer, more accomodating people. A large bowl of fruit welcomed us, and Becca reviewed the "essentials" of the home. We celebrated my 60th bithday, with family and friends of all ages, and everyone had a great time. This unique, well designed, spacious, and comfortable home is a treasure! The gourmet kitchen opens to a family room with firelace, and a large deck that is the perfect place to gather for a glass of wine, a meal, or to take in the beauty of nature and quietly read a book. There's a hot tub with large towels and various sized flip flops provided. This beautiful log home has everything, and is waiting for you to visit. We did, and we had a fun, relaxing, and simply fantastic time. We will be back soon!
