Affordable and homey | We recently had a family reunion and four of us stayed at this apartment. There were roses, water, fruit, coffee and other necessities waiting for us when we arrived. The landlord was very helpful in steering us to local eateries, etc. Nicely furnished and well kept with a great back garden area. Definitely a bargain. My only problem was that with a bad leg it was a bit of a walk to the subway and there was not too much in the neighborhood to do. Although the subway that is the closest is a major stop from which you can go anywhere. The neighborhood is much quieter than what I've experienced in Manhattan before in SOHO. If you are willing to spend some time on transportation this place is a real gem. |
