Wed Sep 2		Awesome place to relax and have some family fun	We absolutely loved our vacation at the Saluda Mountain Lake Retreat! The scenary was beautiful and even though all the other cabins were booked it felt like we were the only ones there. Our dog loved swimming and fishing with us on the pond and we took great hikes while in the area. The Bear Chalet had plenty of room and was very clean, plus the hot tub helps with sore muscles after climbing up the sides of mountains:) Only downside was our bed was less than comfy but all in all our family had one of our best vacations yet. We would love to come back for a fall weekend during color change - it will be GORGEOUS there then. The Purple Onion and Saluda Grade Cafe are great eating and only 15 minute away in the down town area. If you visit make sure to call Zach the first day for all your fishing gear and the inside scoop for good biting spots!
