Great Place - Close enough but off the path | We were 3 adults sharing this apartment while attending the International Documentary Festival, and we really loved the apartment. It's very tastefully decorated and comfortable, with plenty of room for repose in the large dining room and living room. It's one downfall is the tiny bathroom, but I think that's typical of apartment living in Amsterdam. The location was great for us, there was a lot to explore in this neighborhood. But it was a nice walk or short tram ride to the center. Nearby there were lots of turkish restaurants, but also pubs and bakeries and shops. Overall, we preferred something a bit off the typical tourist path, and we found this neighborhood to be quite convenient to the tourist attractions, but refreshingly 'genuine' to the urban experience of Amsterdam. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay. |
