Continued....from below | One of the best things was being directly on the beach. We usually rent a place anywhere from Long Beach to Biloxi, but we are always separated from the beach by Beach Blvd. Since we don’t let them go off on their own, the kids always have to wait on us to go with them, which sometimes can take a while. But, at your home, they could go right out the back door and we didn’t have to go sit in the sun on the beach to keep an eye on them. Let me just say, we had a GREAT week – from 3 to 60, everyone had fun. Thanks |

A FAMILY Vacation Place | Please read my letter below: Homer, Just a note to let you know we had a wonderful week at your Ocean Springs home last week. My husband and I arrived first, and I must say, I was a little concerned about the ‘remote’ location of the Ocean Belle I. I told my husband that I was afraid I had made a mistake in my selection because it was so secluded from the busy Biloxi coast my family had been used to. My husband told me “don’t worry – the boys will love it.” We had our 2 daughters, 6 grandsons (ages 3,9,12,12,14, & 17) and 1 great granddaughter (age 4) with us for the week (plus the dog). The two son-in-laws came for there for the weekend only. When the boys arrived they found a mangled crab trap on the beach that they managed to straighten out. We had brought the party barge with us and had about 4 ‘set nets’ of our own. We got them some bait and by Saturday afternoon they had 5 dz. crabs. So Saturday evening we all had boiled crabs.
