B&B review | My family of 15 rented out Oakland Cottage for 5 days. The house was clean and had the charm associated with a 100-year-old house. Indoor and outdoor games were available and the kitchen was stocked with every utensil we needed. Two refrigerators were available for us to use as well as a huge pantry to store our food, so that was very convenient. Two rooms had full-size beds (which took some getting used to for 2 couples) while the others had queens and 1 had a king. As is typical of older homes, it wasn't easy to comfortably control the heat both upstairs and down and the showers' temperature varied dramatically. Also, the shower pressure in a few of the bathrooms wasn't what you get in newer homes. |
