Fantastic find! | What a great place for a first stay in N.Y.C. My wife & I stayed there with friends. Please read and believe all previous comments on this safe & secure apartment, owners , area and local people. Making the reservation was easy, Rose the owner was there to meet us, the fridge was full, the bedrooms and lounge comfortable, back garden to relax in for the last hour or so each evening .. it just goes on! Advice on using yellow cabs from JFK was correct --- $45 plus $5 toll fees ( same with Harlem cabs going back ). Bus stop and underground nearby. Buy a $7.50 all day pass at the underground station to use either underground or bus otherwise it's $2.00 a single trip. Rose - I can now recommend the local Indian restaurant / take-away around the corner on 3rd. |
